BNP: The legal challenge to party’s membership policy (Guardian Unlimited)

The commission wrote to the party leader, Nick Griffin, in June outlining concerns over its whites-only rules. It asked for undertakings that the party would not discriminate on the grounds of race or colour and would comply with the Race Relations Act 1976 . The letter warned of legal action (pdf) if the party did not comply.
