Residents protest at Saturday’s Tea Party (The Port Lavaca Wave)

Several area residents were fed up, and they were ready to talk about it on Independence Day. About 200 residents showed up at Calhoun County’s second Tea Party Saturday at the county fairgrounds, speaking against excess government and high taxes, while generally supporting “conservative” values.
